14.Is there any up charge for custom orders? and how much?

• Cartoon costs
  To make custom orders including custom sizes, custom colors, custom designs, the same sized new cartoons  would be added. The up charge is to cover the salaries paid for our designers to draw the same sized cartoon by hand. It usually takes 15 to 40 days depending on the size of the cartoon and the design itself.  Salaries for designers are much higher than the weavers. But rest assured that we only take the costs and no profit would be added.
  
  Therefore, please try to avoid the up charge by choosing our ready designs in the standard sizes below,
  
  Aubusson rugs
  Rectangular: 3'x5'(0.91x1.52m), 4'x6'(1.22x1.83m), 5'x8'(1.52x2.44m), 6'x9'(1.83x2.74m), 8'x10'(2.44x3.05m), 9'x12'(2.74x3.66m) and 10'x14'(3.05x4.27m)
  Round: 8'x8'(2.44x2.44m)
  Runner: 2.5'x8'(0.76x3.05m), 2.5'x10'(0.76x3.66m)
  
  Aubusson tapestries - Fixed sizes shown on the catalogue page
  
  Aubusson pillows/cushions
  Square:14"x14",16"x16",18"x18"
  Rectangular: 18"x14",18"x16",22"x14",24"x12"

  And bear in mind the up charge when quoting to your customers for custom orders.
  

• Rate
  For a custom Aubusson rug or a custom needlepoint rug, the up charge is USD1/sqft or USD10.76/sqm. 
  
  For a custom Aubusson tapestry, it would be USD5.15/sqft or USD55.4/sqm.  Please always have this in mind when quoting to your clients. The cartoon costs are subjected to the latest salaries paid to the designers to draw them.
  
  For a custom Aubusson cushion/pillow, the cartooon costs USD30/custom size.   For custom tapestry pillows/cushions, the cartoon costs USD40/custom size.  For long sofa covers, the cartoon costs USD80/ custom size.  For custom chair covers, the cartoon cost is USD30/custom size.
