11.Would the colors and
patterns remain the same when I repeat the orders?
When weaving a rug, weavers would
need the same sized cartoon to follow. So, once a rug is made,
the cartoon would certainly have been hand drawn. and the
original cartoon would be reserved and could be copied by the
cartoon copying machine when weaving the same design in the
future. So the cartoon ensures the exact details for
repeated orders.:)
There is an original color card for each
pattern which is used for repeated orders. This ensures that we
can follow the same colors for dyeing. However, color dyeing can
be affected by too many factors such as temperature, water, air, weather
and etc. And the process is totally controlled and judged by hands
and eyes of the dyers. So yarns dyed in different lots can vary a
little bit and could never be the same. But they should be at
least 90% the same. Most clients do understand this and it
is also a character of the handmade aubussons.:)
In short,
patterns would be the same. Colors would be at least 90% the
same.:)
